WELCOME !
We welcome all who share our mission, regardless of any existing affiliations, because we recognize that to truly learn about Okinawan arts we must be open to new experiences and trust those who are ahead of us.
We also realize that we must be committed to working together and helping each other along the way in order to cultivate the true Uchinanchu spirit.
The Uta Sanshin Circle’s mission is to enjoy, share, and learn about the rich culture of Okinawa through uta sanshin.
This Circle is established to introduce members to the road of lifelong study of Okinawan arts.
In order to do this, we will draw upon rich, local community resources and a variety of Sensei to introduce members to the philosophy and history of uta sanshin.
